Intimate home wedding {Northeast Wyoming wedding photographer}

I was honored to be asked to photograph the intimate home wedding of Paul & Terri. Terri is my friend (as well as my former boss). It was a Norwest/Wells Fargo bank mini reunion with the other 2 ladies attending whom I worked with as well!





Love both of these ladies!


Terri's son and soon to be husband before the wedding.


You could just feel the love!

First baby of the new year {Northeast Wyoming newborn photographer}

Meet Paul the first baby of the new year:


He is Robbin's son (see most recent maternity session). What a cute little redhead!


He was such a good baby for the entire session! His Daddy is a boxer...love this!


And with mommy:




Since he was the first baby of the new year Robbin bought a few New Year props for the session! So cute!






It was so fun capturing Paul as a newborn...what a sweetie! I should have the rest on my site soon!

New Years Eve wedding {Northeast Wyoming wedding photographer}

A New Years Eve wedding...how fun! LOVE this getting ready image!


It was a cold enough day but the groom rocked it out!


I was finishing up with the guys when we went into the garage...and saw this awesome couch and colorful posters...I was thrilled!




Marti braved the cold so well too!




Love it!




It was sooo cold by this time.....everyone ran out of the car and posed, then ran right back.


Some details...


Then...I suggested doing some pictures of the Bride and Groom at a local hotel lobby since it was so cold out...and the manager was nice enough to let us!


Check out the name of the magazine...I didn't even notice that until I was looking at the pictures on the computer!

Favorites of 2009 {Northeast Wyoming photographer}

I really tried to pick just a few favorites...and well, I failed. Needless to say this is going to be an image heavy post.

We'll start with one of my favorites....weddings!






This was taken at an outdoor chapel just a few miles from the entrance to Yellowstone Park:

Then of course, there is the fun alternative to cleaning and storing your dress....Trashing it!!! First we just went and had fun at a carnival:

And yes, you don't have to get this extreme...but what fun pictures to have!

I enjoyed photographing a few beautiful pregnant ladies.
We were lucky enough to use a private Ranch at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains for this one:


Next...Robbin, who is due any day!


Then there were a few newborns sprinkled in as well....this little guy is my sweet nephew:


I LOVE to photograph seniors....they are so much fun!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Every year my children get to pick out an ornament and I also do a few exchanges. This year my son is obsessed with:

Yep...Indiana Jones...he was even Indiana for Halloween!

My daughter is in love with:

This is the first year she is really into Barbie.

This ornament came from my sister-in-law.


And I love to decorate for Christmas...here is one of my favorites:


I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas season! I am looking forward to about a week off with my family and then I will be back with a winter themed wedding! Merry Christmas!

Best kid session ever! {Northeast Wyoming photographer}

I don't conider myself much of a kid photographer...after all it's hard work! This session was honestly nothing but a pleasure...these kids were so funny and easy to work with! It was freezing out...so we were lucky enough to use a beautiful house outside of town!

This so reminds me of something my own son would do:
