Fireplace decoration

Nothing too exciting today! I haven't went and had any "summer fun" with fire yet so this will have to do. This photo was obviously taken this past winter ~ like I'm gonna burn a fire in June, lol. Our piece of glass broke and my dh works as a welder repairman so he decided rather than

pay the $100 for this tiny piece of glass, he could cut something out. He chose the motto for our state ~ the cowboy on a bucking horse. He has cut out words and logos, I keep telling him he should try to sell them, they look really nice. He even cut out the word "create" in polished metal for my friends scrapbook room for Christmas ~ it turned out so cool too! Anyhow this is the sight we get to enjoy when we have a fire blazing during the winter, sure does beat the plain, boring piece of glass. CC welcome and appreciated.

Funny...we DO run our fireplace in June occasionally;) Sounds like you get some great custom pieces, can we see some of them?
