Fishing fun!

It's a brand new week and nope, I'm not on theme at all! Ds has just been itching to go fishing this spring! Finally, we were home this weekend and had plenty of time so dh surprised us (well, ok ds). Talk about one excited little boy! Last year it

just never seemed to work out and ds had no intentions of letting that happen this year. We have a little man made lake in our town that they stock w/fish. We could also drive 30 minutes and go to a real lake, but this is really handy with kids who only seem to last an hour or so. This was also dd's first time fishing and she was thrilled with her new Minnie Mouse fishing pole. Ds caught the first fish and then dd started reeling them in left and right. This poor fish

swallowed the hook so dh had quite a time freeing him and getting him back into the water. I love the look on dd's face in this next one, she loved the actual "fishing" part but wanted NOTHING to do with the real thing. She thought they were gross! And then for the grand

finale, yep wouldn't you know it, ds got hooked! He was casting his line out and the hook caught him on his leg. Poor little dude, but he only cried for a minute before getting right back in there and fishing again! We all had a really great time, (me taking photographs, of course). I think I

see a lot of fishing in our near future. CC welcome and appreciated.

I've been looking at your work and I really like it. I am a beginning photographer and just looking at
other photographers sites to get ideas. Thanks, Angel Rollins
