This is one of my favorite shots from the ceremony ~ it's not exactly fire, but if you look up in the front of the church you can make out the candles just barely. Now, don't go thinking I use my star filter on everything, but these particular shots just screamed for it.
These were shot at high ISO (1600) due to no flash use allowed. CC welcome and appreciated.
***Regarding a few comments from yesterday's post. I had a few comments that my pictures were soft and did I sharpen them for the web. When I posted today's, you're right they do look soft. Please let me know how you all sharpen for the web. Thanks!***

They look great! Love the stars :O)
And like the shots from yesterday as well! Super cute!
Those are neat. I like the first one with the flames, and the second one I like the composition. I also like that they are in black and white. Looks like a really beautiful wedding :)
Like BnW and am I a sucker for these sorts of shots. To me, they look a tad dark and when I enlarged...you're right, noisy from the 1600. Have you run through noiseware yet? It may help to get rid of a little of that. As for sharpening for web, I'm no expert because I rarely do it myself. Here's the numbers in USM that were suggested to me. 50, 3, 1 I think...? Try it and see if that's way too much or not. I think there are others that do something like 300 or something...wow! Can we see more shots from the wedding?
I love these. There is something about that second shot that just pulls me in. I love the lighting here.
the second one is cool and the first one is beautiful.
Very cool effect - the lighting is so "moody".
Nice job, I like the 1st one the flames look like stars.
love how the candles are sending lights across the picture.
