I just had to photograph these window frames ~ you can really see how unstable it is!
We unfortunately have fires in all the states surrounding us and a few in ours so there is a ton of haze in the air and has been for the last month:( It just doesn't make for the best "view" pictures but I still tried. This place was high up on a huge cliff and this picture just doesn't do it justice. This was as far as I could go without hiking ~ which we couldn't because dd was asleep in the vehicle. Darn that haze! I'm def. going to go back next summer.
We came across this cute little water hole on our way back down and dd had woken up so we stopped to let the kids fish for a few minutes. I love taking silhouettes!
This is going down off the back side of the mountain ~ once again would have been a FABULOUS view if not for the haze. Please click on these for a better look.
When we were heading back to our camp I made dh stop so I could get a picture of this fence, I just thought it was too awesome. I've seen them many times before but never thought to photograph it ~ so glad I did!
This is an attempt I made hand held using the bulb setting. This is my bil getting the campfire going ~ I love the faint outline of his cowboy hat.
We're going back this weekend and we're hiking down to some falls that I've been to before. I can't wait to photograph them again ~ I've def. improved in the last 5 years! I will be sure to share some of those next week! CC welcome and appreciated.

We also deal with haze during the summer, just one of those things I guess, but your pic actually looks like the fog is just setting in, so I don't think it looks much like haze believe it or not.

I agree with you too about wondering where everyone is. I've noticed it the last week, must becasue everyone is having a busy summer right?

These are wonderful! I love the shot through the windows of the barn. It would be cool to to capture a child playing in the field on the other side (through the windows). Love these...I wanna go!!

These are all beautiful. I have a thing for fences so I love that one and the fire oh and the second of the window and... Well I love them all. so pretty. Lucky you having a dh that will hunt for spots for you too. Have fun again the next time you go and looking forward to seeing more.
