Porcupine Falls

I love this amazing place! I have been here many times, the last being when I was pregnant with ds (6 years ago)! The trail is straight down and then straight up. Going down takes about 20 minutes, coming up so much longer:P This is ds and his cousin about 3/4 of the way down. This is the first glimpse of the falls.

It felt so cool down here! We were getting ready to have a thunderstorm though and here we were unprotected so we didn't stay as long as I'd have liked to. As a result, I didn't get near as many photographs from different angles as I would have liked.

The pile of wood in the foreground was a cool huge bench to sit on, but it fell down
:( I was so sad to see that, we always took our pictures on it!

Here is the view coming back out, just breath taking!

There are so many old and new places I'd like to hike again and was very encouraged with how well our kids did! CC welcome and appreciated.

Amy, these are really beautiful shots. You are lucky to have a place like this to hike, sounds like fun and hopefully you can go again soon! I would love this and so would my boys. It looks very cool, it's been so hot and humid here lately. Have fun school shopping!
